This renovation reshaped an underused basement and garage into a warm, livable extension of the home. The garage became a family room with a comfortable 9-foot ceiling achieved through careful underpinning. Challenges such as water beneath the slab and structural steel adjustments were managed without affecting design integrity. The finished lower level now feels connected, inviting, and genuinely useful for day-to-day living.
